So on the plus side, i have lots more energy now. but I don't have anything to do. This is pretty much horrible. can I have rookie assignments at least? Something?
So just asking. is anybody working on this? Because as much as i enjoy not being able to do anything for myself, i would enjoy being self sufficient again. just saying. Or is everybody in the science dept too little to use lab equipment? What are you guys being paid for
Oh and my hand isn't big enough to work the can opener. So my cats are eating dry food and are pretty pissed about it. At least they didn't wake up as kittens.

The hole in my chest finally closed up all the way a couple days ago. So I'm off to China for a couple days. I guess there's been some flooding. So Xi'an thinks it's a water sprite pissed off about something. Why they need me to help out is beyond me. Water sprites is rudimentary stuff.
Anyway. Hopefully I'll be back before Saturday. Wouldn't want to miss the fireworks.

I just thought of something. Igor Bromhead. Occult artifact smuggler. I put him away in 83 but he was released about ten years ago. He has more of a grudge against me than the BPRD -- or Layla. So he's probably not our guy. But if anyone knows anything about a missing magical artifact, it's him.

Back from Cornwall. For the record: as far as I can tell, there is no such thing as an "Owlman". There's a guy there doing genetic experiments on owls. But that's a different thing. I'm still finding feathers in my pockets.
But I've still never seen a Moth-Man. If I had time to kill, I'd go to West Virginia. I almost went a few years ago, but never got around to it. I'm going to Australia tomorrow though to make sure Alice Springs is doing okay with post-containment. Is that book thing almost finished, by the way? Everyone's a little tight-lipped about the whole thing.
Sad to see Lobster Johnson is gone. Never got to say goodbye. But I guess he's better off. It's probably not much fun being a locked up ghost.

Back from Austria. It was okay. The Perchten sightings were fake. Or at least they stopped showing up once everyone went into hysterics about long-lost relatives showing up. So whoever was faking them probably got too concerned over all this reanimation stuff to continue. Saw a lot of people in period dress. And a lot of people in fear, on both sides. It was interesting.
More interesting was someone I found around the ruins of Hunte Castle. There were a lot of Nazis appearing, so I had to get out of populated areas kind of fast. Didn't really feel like punching out someone's dead grandfather in front of a bunch of little old ladies. Anyway, I always knew Lobster Johnson was real. I guess that story about his last mission being in Hunte Castle in '39 was true too. Weird.
Anyway, I felt bad just leaving him out in the snow. Maybe he's really a dead guy, but he seems pretty okay to me. He doesn't like computers, but I'm showing him some of the old Lobster Johnson movies I have. He says they're pretty funny.
So all in all, not a terrible week.

Apparently I needed to get my ass kicked on an ice field by a three-headed lizard to get out of my bad mood. Who knew. Anyway, Siberia is still damn cold, but not as dragon-infested anymore, I guess. Couldn't find any connections between that business and the old hag. So for once she stayed the hell away in her little doorless shack and left me alone. Could also be why I'm not in a bad mood anymore. Bonus.
Will be in Florida tomorrow. This one shouldn't take that long, probably fake. Crocodiles, shapechanging ones or the regular kind, aren't even down there anyway. What is with all the lizards lately?
